Orson Scott Card Article Response

After reading the article of Orson Scott Card's opinion on gay marriage, I don't think he is a very nice person. It doesn't really change my thoughts on his book though because Ender's Game was a well written book. When we read that article in class it changed my perspective of him as a person and made me not want to support him as much. I find it strange that he's against gay marriage because in Ender's Game there was some affectionate scenes with two guys...
I don't think Mr. Vack should remove the book from the reading curriculum because I'm sure that students are going to enjoy reading Ender's Game. I am honestly not a fan of Orson Scott Card as a person but I am a fan of his writings, therefore, I am glad that we got to read Ender's Game in class. I do understand if other people stop reading his novels after they heard/read about his opinion on gay marriage.
I think that the movie should keep Card "out of the limelight" because I am positive that if everyone heard about Card's opinion there is definitely going to be a bunch of people who decide not to go see the movie after what he said about gay marriage and the movie would probably get lower ratings.
